According to several news reports, the 21 year old recently admitted that an offer from United would be hard to reject.
The West Ham left back could provide ample cover for Luke Shaw and provide Rojo with some competition. If a 6 month loan or even a permanent transfer could be arranged, Manchester United would gain some squad depth at a much needed area. Though this does not appear ideal with Marcos Rojo’s current form, his inconsistency over long stretches still remains a question and competition is a must with any team.
The Leicester winger has been pure class this year. 7 goals make him the third highest scorer in the Barclays Premier League. He has been linked to Manchester United and Barcelona.
The introduction of Felipe Anderson would no doubt provide stiff competition for Memphis. This would allow Martial to play up top, with Rooney and Herrera vying for the number 10 spot.
Jesé
Rodriguez
The Madrid youngster can play anywhere
along a front three but is most at home on the left wing. At 22 years old, and
finally resuming to full fitness after a leg injury, Jesé could be available on
the cheaper side and his best years are in front of him.
During the 2013/14 season before his injury, Jesé kept Gareth Bale out of the
side. Working with Ryan Giggs would do wonders and Manchester United need a goal scoring
spark. Jese can provide the boost that United require. Jesé has the potential to
be the successor to his mentor, Cristiano Ronaldo. 2 goals in 6 games is not a bad feat considering the fact that he is Madrid's third highest scorer.
Hakan Çalhanoğlu
According to several news reports, the 21 year old recently admitted that an offer from United would be hard to reject.
Louis van Gaal loves set piece routines and has dead ball specialists in Mata, Depay and Rooney. Hakan works well
as a creative maestro. An issue is that either Herrera or Mata would
lose their spot as a result.
Manchester United require a spark. However, if Louis van Gaal has Herrera on a tight leash, the same could be said for Hakan. 4 goals this year is not a bad total.
Aaron Cresswell
The West Ham left back could provide ample cover for Luke Shaw and provide Rojo with some competition. If a 6 month loan or even a permanent transfer could be arranged, Manchester United would gain some squad depth at a much needed area. Though this does not appear ideal with Marcos Rojo’s current form, his inconsistency over long stretches still remains a question and competition is a must with any team.
Riyad Mahrez
The Leicester winger has been pure class this year. 7 goals make him the third highest scorer in the Barclays Premier League. He has been linked to Manchester United and Barcelona.
Mahrez plays on the right wing and I imagine that he falls within the 15-25 million range. Mahrez is proven in the Premier League as with Aaron Cresswell and adaptation should not prove to be an issue. If Louis van Gaal insists on playing Martial
on the left, Mata could be pushed into the number 10 role with Riyad on the right.
That could be a lethal combination.
Felipe Anderson
The introduction of Felipe Anderson would no doubt provide stiff competition for Memphis. This would allow Martial to play up top, with Rooney and Herrera vying for the number 10 spot.
Although Felipe has been linked with Manchester United for a period of time, a possible drawback regarding this situation could be Louis van Gaal’s reputation
with Brazilians. Some examples would be the fall-out with Rafael da Silva and Rivaldo (the reigning Balon
D’or winner at that moment).
Manchester United desperately need wingers so Felipe is a feasible
option. 5 goals in 10 games this year is no measly tally for a winger.
